Boulders and curiousity
My friends and I wanted to climb every single one of the boulders before, it gives a whole of different perspective to the place.
En route Mt. Daraitan Summit
Small wonders are everywhere if only we take the time to notice.

There is a nearby cave you and your friends could explore while in Tinipak River

The province of Rizal, located approximately 60 kilometers east of Manila, holds some of the country's hidden treasures. From phenomenal summits to wondrous water forms,Rizal proves to be an oasis for the thirsty adventurous souls.
One could never go wrong especially in climbing Mt. Daraitan where vistas of the nearby town could be seen in bird's eyeview. The hike to the summit will take an hour to two, depending on your physical might, and another half an hour going down to the picturesque Tinipak River— where humongous boulders of rocks create foams in its white waters.
HOW TO GO THERE?
- Hop on a van or jeepney along Shaw Boulevard headed to Tanay.
- Ask to be dropped of at Jollibee tanay where one can hail a tricycle bound for Barangay Daraitan where the registration site is located
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO IN RIZAL PROVINCE?
- Daranak falls is nearby, a quick stop wouldn't hurt and would mean hitting 3 birds in one stone (Mt. Daraitan, Tinipak Falls, Daranak Falls)
- Go spelunking to the nearby cave in Tinipak River. Ask your trusty guide about the path leading to cave.
